08-02-2013 Delft According ancient tradition, the Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles/Royal Delft has made unique reminder signs (herinneringsborden) off special events of the Royal House. These special Orange Plates are numbered and released in the year following the event until 30 April 2014. Both the Abdication (inhuldiging)of Queen Beatrix and the Inauguration of King Willem-Alexander are two formats issued plates, tw 36 cm and 22 cm.
The signs next to the names and dates shows the Royal coat of arms. In the inauguration (inhuldiging) plate of King Willem-Alexander are also the names of the six kings and queens processes to the relationship with the 200th anniversary of the Dutch Kingdom. The designs are made by Simon van Oosten, master painter at Royal Delft.
